Urartu Museum

Van - 2017

The Urartu civilization did exist in the region of Lake Van in eastern Turkey, but they did not use cuneiform script. Instead, they developed their own unique writing system, known as the "Urartian alphabet", which is still not fully deciphered. The Urartu civilization was a significant cultural and economic power in the region, known for their impressive architecture, metallurgy, and trade networks.
